Violet-comeback theme is the GTK2/GTK3 counterpart to the Qt5/KDE color scheme "Violet Comeback". It was mainly designed to make GTK applications match with KDE Violet color scheme, but it is also compatible with Gnome, Unity, Xfce, Cinnamon, Mate and so on. As creator mentioned this theme is based on Numix and generated with oomox. Since this theme is in active development some issues exist in the GTK3 version: there are no borders at all on some windows and no shadow, which make the look a bit too flat. The windows cannot be handled properly. If you find any other bug in the theme then report it and hopefully it will get fixed.

Wire is a communication application mainly focused on privacy. Wire is available for almost every platform Linux, Windows, Mac and mobile devices, its applications across all platforms uniformly use state-of-the-art encryption mechanisms that are recognized as reliable by experts and the community.
Wire offers end-to-end encrypted text messaging, video, voice calls and media, all conversation are private and secured, all conversations are available on multiple devices and platforms without weakening security.
Conversation content is encrypted with strong encryption on the sender’s device and only decrypted on the recipient’s device. Wire doesn’t hold the decryption keys and our software contains no backdoor. Your data is your data — Wire has no access to it. Users can verify digital identity of other users using fingerprint comparison.
Text messages and pictures use Proteus for end-to-end encryption. Voice and video calls use the WebRTC standard. More precisely DTLS is used for key negotiation and authentication and SRTP is used for encrypted media transport. The encryption works transparently in the background and doesn’t need to be activated first. It doesn’t get in the way of usability or reduce the feature set and avoids the complexity that is common to secure messengers.

ReText is a simple and powerful editor for Markup languages (such as reStructuredText and Markdown), it is written in Python programming language. It is basically compiled for Linux and other POSIX compatible platforms, theoretically it can work on other operating systems as well but you have to port it by yourself. Since it is in active development you can submit bugs if find at any point.
You can control its output formatting. The files it works with are plain text files, however it can export to PDF, HTML and other formats.

retext editor

Markdown extensions: Extra extension set is enabled by default. Math extension is enabled and can be used with the WebKit renderer.
Export Extensions: Export Extensions were introduced in ReText 3.0 and allow you to add your own export functions to ReText. These extensions work without needing to save the original file — ReText will write a temporary file in original markup or in HTML, depending on what arguments you specify in the command.
Table editing mode: The idea of table editing mode is that even though you may generate nice output in lots of different formats, it is still useful to have nice-looking input as well.
